Artist Biography

Louisa Lorenz was raised in California’s Central Valley around farming and agriculture. Growing up in an artistic household, she was engaged in the arts throughout her youth. She began painting murals in high school to pay her way through college. Louisa graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2022, where she studied painting under nationally recognized artist, Leon Parson. Louisa is enjoying her ongoing experimentation with oil paints to continue finding and “becoming more me”. Currently, she is found painting outdoors from life, in and around Roy, Utah where she now resides with her sweet husband.
